This is probably the most expensive surge protector I've bought as they normally use standard brown protectors for 6 slot straight plugs. What I love about this Kensington 62690:1 adapter. I can use all 8 sockets, simple plug-in adapters that can normally cover 2 sockets on an old crash bar. Adapters extend beyond the edge of the Kensington.2. 8ft cable so it runs through the floor and under my desk allowing all of my office equipment to be plugged in under my desk instead of on my walkway like my previous 2-3ft surge protector.3. I love the colors around each outlet, this is a really nice surge protector! In addition, I can also use color coding if needed. Note. The sockets fit snugly, I had to wiggle a few cords I plugged in to get them all the way in and flush with the surge protector.
