There are no smart plugs on this device!

Maybe in 2014, when this product was made or at least the manual was printed, smart plugs had nothing to do with Alexa control or other digital means. However, Kensington 8-Outlet SmartSockets with 8-Foot Cable and 3090J Premium Surge Protector (K62691NA) do not have remote control jacks. Yes, there are nice colored circles around the sockets, and the sockets are spaced far enough apart to make room for many wider adapters, but there aren't any "smart" sockets as people currently understand…

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

This is probably the most expensive surge protector I've bought as they normally use standard brown protectors for 6 slot straight plugs. What I love about this Kensington 62690:1 adapter. I can use all 8 sockets, simple plug-in adapters that can normally cover 2 sockets on an old crash bar. Adapters extend beyond the edge of the Kensington.2. 8ft cable so it runs through the floor and under my desk allowing all of my office equipment to be plugged in under my desk instead of on my walkway like

The only solution I could find for the child lock

My 10 month old will soon be able to walk on his own. So of course I stocked up on plastic plugs to seal off all my outlets so my future baby wouldn't put fingers, plugs or anything else in them. But here's the thing: I'm a techie. I have more electronics in my apartment than the average three families combined, so I have surge protectors everywhere. After all, we need a place where we can connect everything. So we have a lot of unprotected sockets. Now here's the problem: Most power…

Pros
  • Like all so far
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

No TVs! Check the guarantee!

Bought for my mother. She just bought a new TV and needed a new surge protector to plug in her satellite gear and electronics. After reviewing Revain and reading the positive reviews, we decided on this protector. After 5 months there was a power surge that disabled the protection and all devices connected to it. After going through Kensington's warranty process (which took patience, folks), we found that the only thing their "$35,000 Connectivity Hardware Limited Warranty" covers is the cost…

Very functional surgeon!

I have two computers with a number of external hard drives and other devices, all in the office. Sometimes I feel like I have a phone/mains with all these different wires flying around. To make matters worse, there are multiple power supplies occupying two slots on the surge protector. This forces multiple surge protectors, some with eight slots, but only two or three devices are plugged in because the other slots are unusable. use them all. To give you an idea of how well this works - I hooked
