Once this hub is connected, two ghost drives appear in Disk Management and File Explorer even though nothing is connected to them and an Event 158 warning occurs "source Drive: Drive 4 has the same drive IDs as one or more drives attached to the system.". Thinking it might be a defective unit I got a replacement but the 2nd did the same. While it looks good and feels solid, I think there is a design issue. Return and get another brand. Oh, one more thing. This hub also didn't work with 4 of my 6 inch USB 3 extenders. The extenders work perfectly without a hub. Either my extensions aren't compatible with this hub, or the hub doesn't support the length.
