Edit: After 6 weeks of use I am upgrading it from 4 stars to 5. I went for a run this morning and realized that the phone holder has become just a part of what I wear when I run. I mean it's easy to just pop in your phone and get started. It took a few tries to find the best position, but now it feels right. I definitely recommend it. First off, the manufacturer gave me a phone mount for free and surprisingly *didn't* ask for a review. The forearm strap is one of those things I didn't know I wanted. I start intervals with the timer on my phone. I've been thinking about getting a shoulder strap for my phone, but I need to check the timer while I'm working out. I just ran with my phone in hand but I kept switching hands and messing up the timer app. This forearm strap is just right. The phone is placed in an elastic holder. The picture shows how it works better than I can describe, but part of the stand fits the top and bottom corners of the phone and has extra stabilizers on the ends. It is firmly sewn to the vinyl part of the strap and the phone can be easily inserted and removed from the holder. The band itself is made of thick material, I would describe it as highly elastic. There is velcro at the end which is unlike any velcro I've seen before. The hooks are so tiny I can barely see them. It attaches to the harness and holds securely but does not stick to clothing. I've been using it for 3 weeks now. My phone measures 5.7 x 2.8 x 0.3 inches and has a medium-thick phone case, so it's neither the biggest nor the smallest. At first the group was awkward and I was afraid the phone might be too big for the job. Although when I wore it everything was fine. When running, it is stable and easy to read. In general I am very happy with them. It fits very well. I'm a woman with fairly small forearms and I'm not sure how well it would suit someone with large hands. If you're not sure, I suggest asking in the questions section.
