I purchased this item to assist in Florida sun. Also, I go to camping music fests where it is common to need to get some relief in your car from the heat. At bonnaroo, I used this product for my front windshield. I already have the best UV protective tint, so just needed to get something in the windshield. Due to the configuration of my vehicle (Acura TLX 2015 Advanced), it did not sit quite right. Also, the corners around the metal reinforced circle did not stay put very well. Overall, it worked better than if I had nothing there, so I am thankful. However, the low rating is due to it being hyped up to be more than it actually was. I did my best to wedge the circles in the headliner and dash. However, it did frequently come loose. Also, as mentioned, the corners did not stay well, letting additional light (and heat) in the car. Furthermore, around the rear view mirror, the shade wanted to fall. This was likely due to the circles not lining up and staying put. For the value, it was OK performance. However, it was not optimal nor was it 100% as advertised. If I had to start over with this unit as a baseline, I would look elsewhere first.
