I bought this excellent Elite Spanker Tactical Dog Collar, Large, RGN color on January 6th, 2018 for my Belgian Malinois dog. It weighed about 65 pounds when I bought it and now weighs 75 pounds and still wears it. I love the idea with the quick release buckle and control knob. It's easier to reach my dog's neck than a vest handle. This worked great for keeping the bitch close to me when walking past people in tight spaces. With one hand I hold the leash short and with my heel I hold the leash handle so I can grab the collar handle with the other hand. This collar alone does not fit my dog as his neck is larger than his head and it is easy to put on and take off. . We use a spiked collar on this tactical collar and attach a leash to the two rings of the spiked collar and the D-ring of this tactical collar. This collar prevents the spiked collar from slipping into an (incorrect) position on the neck and the spiked collar helps this tactical collar slide up and off the head. In the summer of 2018, my dog ran into a lake. a lot and I had to wash the collar (in a mesh laundry bag) several times a week to get rid of the mold. Back then it took too long to air dry before we had to put it back on, so it took a lot of time in the dryer too. That ruined the color. The black paint on the buckle and D ring has also peeled off the leash and tag. After the end of the summer of 2018, the collar did not often get wet and the collar no longer smells. The Velcro on the outside of the collar is great for patches. I like this function very much. Our dog isn't comfortable with strangers approaching us, so we like it when the warning is visible to others. Dimensions. Medium fits this collar as stated in this review. I also recently purchased an EmbTao No Touch No Talk No Eye Contact embroidered badge and put it on this collar alongside another patch. Overall I am still happy with this purchase and continue to use it to this day. It looks good on my dog and serves several practical purposes. 5 Stars. Photos Explanation: I've included a photo of the PS4's green camo controller for color reference. The collar had some wear (the paint on the D-ring was gone but the fabric still looked new). 3 photos of the collar (one with new stop patch and new second pair of Albcorp patches, plus photo of buckle and D-ring) taken in May 2019 with daily use since purchase. The two photos of my dog outside on the sidewalk were taken about a week after purchase, no patches yet. The photo outside on the lawn was taken in August 2018 with the first old set of Albcorp medium patches.
