I have been using and abusing these scissors every day for 12 years now. I'm an electronics engineer. in the energy industry. I bought these scissors about 12 years ago and they have quickly become my favorite pair of scissors. I mainly use them for cutting wire and cable and stripping stranded wire. I carefully cut the wire to 000 gauge (try diagonal wire cutters!). I regularly cut flexible steel tubing with it. You easily cut a dime in half and then cut tissue paper. Due to daily abuse, I buy a new pair about every two years. I think that's a good deal.
