I am using a 1970's 5.7L SBC 350 in my race car. I bought these wires thinking they looked pretty good on paper and also ordered some good quality titanium thermal pads. After 6 nights of racing (about 35 laps a night from race to race) we noticed a misfire. I checked the connections on the lid and connector, nothing is dangling. I ended up pulling the wire and removing the grommet and a hole was melted through the boot right at the elbow and the wire was completely exposed. Checked the rest and 5 out of 8 had a hole in the same place. On our track we have to use standard headers, but we still had plenty of room where I felt that shouldn't have happened. We only got half the season due to Covid but if it wasn't for that I would have struggled to find the best time not to miss the race. Instead, I just bought some stocks to get through the last night of the race.
