The new MacBooks on M1 processors are already serious working machines, showing themselves in most tasks to be at the level of top-end mobile processors from Intel or AMD (and sometimes even better), and there is practically no difference between the Air and Pro versions in terms of performance (within the margin of error). Previous generations of the Air were equipped with weak filling and were intended for typing and web surfing. Another subject that piques the interest of a lot of people, including myself. There are two different configurations of the Apple MacBook Air, one with 7 GPU cores and another with 8 (not to be mistaken with the number of CPU cores, which are always 8). Therefore, after reading a large number of evaluations and testing, I have come to the realization that there is practically no difference, or more accurately, that there is a possibility that there is a difference in apps that place a high demand on graphics, but these applications are not very common (games, video editing), and even then, the difference is not obvious. In general, the presence or absence of one core does not determine the weather, even if you want to play on it. A bigger SSD is the one thing that is actually worth spending the extra money on. The portable computer works quickly and efficiently. I would suggest.
