I cannot recover my data that I created on this backup. I did this to transfer my files, now they're gone. This is not an accurate description of this product. It is NOT plug and play, it did not install itself. It didn't even show up. As I said, I restarted my computer when it didn't work. It's NOT super fast. It's very slow. I would look for something else. Big disappointment in that regard.
