Works well with SATA drives.
This dock works much better than the previous (different type) I bought. Transferring from SATA drives is much faster. I don't know about cloning because I haven't used it. I'm still working on getting the IDE drive to work. What interests me now is how to install the drive itself. master or slave? I can't find anything in the manual that suggests this. Or maybe I just can't see it because the text is a bit small. UPDATE: Well it was a good drive until the front drive slot failed today. I am sending it back for a refund.
