This new 50Amp Tracer 5415AN controller is a replacement for my existing Epever 30Amp controller. I liked my 30 megapixel model, but it was time to increase the number of batteries and photovoltaic panels in my system and I wanted a device with more expansion potential. This 5415AN was just what I needed! It's slightly larger than my 30 amp unit with lots of massive cooling fins on the back. What I really like is that I can now connect wires up to 6 AWG directly from my battery and PV arrays. Big improvement in wire size over my 30 amp box! I also like the MT-50 remote reading. My inverter, controller, battery monitor, fuses and other electronics are hidden outside of my caravan's main living area, and yet the MT-50 allows me to monitor my system and make program changes right from my sofa. I also had several reasons for contacting Y-Solar Technical Support. There is nothing bad. Just asking for more information before purchasing. and they were very responsive and helpful. Yes, I would buy an Epever charge controller again!
