Difficult to say as all LEDs emit light directed away from the center and may not be able to take advantage of physics like incandescent bulbs. Lightbulbs where all the light comes from a much smaller three-dimensional volume. They also don't have an opaque block of light along the axes passing through the center like these lamps. I have used these bulbs in a garage door opener which can cause additional problems due to the small clearance between the bulb and other garage door openers. That might not be entirely fair, but it doesn't look like I'm getting 400 watts of light from a pair in my two-car garage. I suspect that this is the nature of such a light. A 300w LED bulb (equivalent) would probably be closer to a 200w incandescent bulb.
