If you are looking for a great monitor at a great price, this is the one for you. While my company provides me with a great multi-monitor docking station in the office, working from home on a tiny laptop screen is sometimes frustrating. This monitor has greatly increased my productivity. I can't speak to its color palette for graphics processing - I suspect professionals in this field are willing to shell out over $100 for a monitor that suits their needs. But for general business purposes like email, document and spreadsheet editing, etc., the Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and large size are perfect, and the price couldn't be better. The monitor comes with a VGA cable which is basically useless unless that is your only choice: analog/VGA cannot reliably support Full HD resolution. However, the monitor also has Displayport and I bought a cheap Displayport cable to connect directly to my laptop. The default brightness was too low for my liking, but the monitor has a row of buttons that you can use to change the brightness manually. , contrast, etc., which easily pushed the monitor to my ideal preference for a bright white workspace. It's worth it if you just need a big screen for everyday use.
