Good drill; without carbide
I bought this drill to use for woodworking (chiselling) with an electric straight grinder. It works and cuts well but is made of steel. probably HSS. On the one hand I wanted hard metal (especially for over 30โฌ) and am a bit disappointed. On the other hand, I load it lightly and get by with HSS. But how soon will the difference in life expectancy show up? Carbide is more durable, even in wood.
