I measured all my kids and picked this carrier as the best for price, weight and size. My cats are heavier (16.8 pounds) and I have bad backs so I didn't want a heavy carrier. I would give it a 5 star rating except that it's a bit shorter than the website says. I was taking one of my cats to the vet and she thought she was throwing up on the way. I am very happy that it can be washed! They all slept in it too. The material is not cheap; My cat tried to run away and couldn't. The straps are pretty strong too. I'm also happy with the pocket on the side. I would love to get one that has an extra side just to give them more space but it does the trick.
