My installation: Vizio TV on a sensor socket. Soundbar and Nvidia Shield on switched outlets. I loved being able to say "Hey Google, turn on the TV" thanks to my sign, but once the novelty of it wears off, it's not exactly useful. The final straw was that it would turn on the TV randomly, with no Google Home input, it would just wake up, which would wake the TV and soundbar. I finally found out when it came on shortly after we left the house and stayed on until we got home TEN DAYS LATER. Good thing screen burn-in is no longer an issue. After that I bought this and when I turn the TV off for three seconds it "turns off" everything else, saving me hassle and money. Also, my Kill-A-Watt couldn't even measure how little power this thing required to run compared to my TV, soundbar, and shield, which used about 50 watts when everything was "off."
