This 3M 06085 Perfect-It Wipe really works wonders. I recently had my car painted and when I was done I still had horrible spatter and some orange peel skin. I was very frustrated until I did a little research and found that using 3000 grit sandpaper followed by 3M 06085 would fix ALL the imperfections. This completely removed all excess spray and made the orange peel invisible. I really couldn't believe my eyes to see a very smooth and shiny result for the rub paste. In fact, it's more like a professional polish because the surface is very smooth. As already mentioned, this material can be used for other tasks. Works very well in the restoration of plastic headlights. It may sound expensive, but I've gone through the 93 T-Bird twice and still only used 16 oz. I would pay double the price for what he did, but don't say 3M. :) Update: 9-29-14 I realize I forgot to mention that you absolutely must use the 8" 3M Foam Pillow 05723 along with the 8" Rotor. Buffer/Sander. The right pad and rotation speed are really very important for the right end result.kd
