Our bedroom is warmer than the rest of the house and I like to sleep cool. Very happy with the fan. it was almost like an air conditioner. and the noise level was moderate white noise. We used it 24/7 for around four weeks, which shouldn't have been a problem before it started to rattle. It was sporadic at first and I read online that the rattle can be fixed so I wasn't too concerned. But my husband was recovering from surgery and we were caring for a special needs grandson, so I didn't have time to immediately address the fan noise. The fan continued to cool satisfactorily even though the knocking increased. And last night it suddenly started sounding like a plane taking off. a loud, continuous roar that woke me up. I unplugged the suction cup and will decide today if the fan can be repaired or needs to be smashed. We had a total of six weeks.
