I bought them for a 43ft ladder with 5 wheels. They are easy to use and put on. They largely prevent the stairs from becoming slippery. I really bought them for getting in and out of dogs. I was afraid that they would get caught in the open cracks in the stairs with their nails. This solved the problem (Great Dane and Lab/Coonhound). They are quite durable as we travel quite a bit. They lasted much longer than I expected.
