The original cabinet bumpers fitted by the manufacturer were felt and very thin. Even as I quietly closed the door, I heard a slamming sound. When my husband was in the kitchen I could see it even in the upstairs room> :( I read the reviews carefully and chose this one. I'm happy with my choice. It peels off easily and sticks very well. Try Be careful not to touch the adhesive part when assembling (so don't leave oil on your fingers), then press firmly for 5 seconds.I've noticed that there are so many closet doors in the house (and you usually need two bumpers per door). i really like these high quality efficient bumpers, i will be buying more for the rest of the door closet!
