They were so important
We used a set (2 pieces) when they were just born and trimmed them without a long thread. We were able to set them up in two weeks. They didn't bother or bother the little ones (German shepherds) and it was much easier for us and the new families to tell them apart. At 3 weeks we put them in a different set but as they became more active the shepherd had to hold them back. We ended up buying clipper collars but if we ever have puppies again we will have more!
