Important for Ecoboost engines
If you have a Ford Ecoboost and the fuel consumption has decreased, replace the air filter. I have a 2.3L engine. I'm not sure if it's that important for v6 Ecoboost. I lost 4mpg with a dirty filter. I sent it back and exchanged it.
