I have a 6 liter instant pot. I use them to steam veggies like carrots and broccoli. I have also used them to pickle eggs. When I wash them I turn them upside down and spray them on the kitchen sink with a spray bottle and that usually wipes out the food residue and then I wash them. They are also best washed out of the sprayer. You can also put vegetables in it and wash them in it. I've had no problems with mine and use them several times a week (I've only had them for a couple of weeks when I posted this review). No problem. I keep them in my Instant Pot when not in use and to save space.
