I bought these to make a basic wicker gate. I needed a weight tie to close the top of the gate while the bottom of the post is in the wire loop at the bottom. I find them handy to have around the farm to close more gates and wire doors.

These clamps are the perfect size for attaching a propane bottle to our camper, yet can be removed quickly and easily. I had to make an adjustment on one end to keep from losing the chain and hook at the top. You are perfect for this job.

Works as expected. The lever is extremely difficult to grip when installed, especially when the load approaches the specified maximum. The lever is less rigid than the rest of the tie, and the flat end of the hook will flex if the chain or cable is twisted while loading the tie.
