First of all I am very grateful for this product - it keeps my laptop on the dual monitor stand at a reasonable ergonomic level. I've used a laptop stand before and while that was fine, it still didn't raise it high enough and took up a lot of desk space. However, this product is NOT overloaded - it is quite light. It's good if you have a light monitor arm as every gram counts I guess. My biggest complaint is the small rubber feet that the laptop rests on, which are too short for my Macbook Pro and the laptop sits under the rubber, aluminum on aluminum, not rubber. This is a work laptop so I'm keeping it, but if it were my personal laptop I'd either send it back or hack the silicone or rubber solution. I would give 4 stars if it was firm and 5 if it was heavier.
