Review on OXO Good Grips Etched Zester Grater by Anthony Gutierrez

I've been told by so many people that I need good spiciness for spices and garlic and I've never listened. I was a fool! This thing quickly takes care of anything it touches and cleans faster than a garlic press. It's very easy to get a little momentum without substance; so no nasty bitterness in cakes and tarts from being a little overzealous with a grater on a lemon zest. The handle is strong, the metal is not flimsy. I have had some complaints about how difficult it is to put the lid on and off, but it's not enough to put a star on this item, but you've been warned if you don't have the manual dexterity to safely remove the lid. or the skin on your hands, which is thick enough to get a scratch or two if you rip it off recklessly. Be CAREFUL though, it will be razor sharp (which is ideal as you can't really sharpen something like that) so you might end up cooking some fingertips in a garlic shrimp and garlic burn on an open wound causing you to tend your hand and yours pride for a few minutes. That means you MUST put the lid on when it's not in use, or little Timmy will run screaming at you after absentmindedly reaching into a drawer for a spoon and scratching an uncovered bowl.
