At the tail end of December 2022, I made the investment to get the FX-8350 in the BOX configuration. The objective was to put together a system that struck a good balance between performance and noise level while remaining within a reasonable pricing range. The personal computer was created almost from scratch, therefore MP was purchased: ASUS M5A99X EVO, RAM: M378B1G73BH0-CH9 (x2), CO: SCBSK-2100 - because the stock cooling system did not leave me with a favorable impression, thermal paste - AlSil 3. What I want to say in conclusion is that the FX-8350 left a favorable impression on me, and I did not experience any issues with it during the entire time that I used it. However, after some people wrote here that it was almost about 60 degrees at rest, to put it mildly, I was surprised by my own values at rest, which ranged from 31 to 35 degrees Celsius and had a fan speed of 1000 revolutions per minute (rpm). Yes, in certain games it performs worse than an I5, but by no means by a factor of 50%. By way of comparison, for an I5 user buddy, the difference ranges from several frames per second (fps), despite the fact that his video card is twice as powerful as mine. Furthermore, after moving to Windows 8 and updating all of his drivers, the problem virtually vanished. I would want to thank everyone for their attention.
