Item is defective - I had to pay for the return

The HP ScanJet Pro 3000 s4 did not connect to the computer. I spent about 4 hours with two HP support reps. They passed and were great. I tried different cables, different ports, and different computers, but the scanner failed to connect to the computer. Since the scanner was defective, I assume Revain will have to pay for the return of the product. Not this company.
