This review was written by my wife who used this product: The Bed Head Morning After Dry Hair Styling Comb works exactly as promised. My hair is thick and wavy, and unless it's washed and wet, no amount of fuss is going to make those crazy strands look civilized. Because it's stained and dry, I'd rather wash it every other day, but then it looks clumsy. To my surprise, the bedhead allowed me to control unruly waves and smooth out frizz. Warnings: Most electronic devices turn on the moment you flip a switch or press a button. It's not like this. Searching through the fine print of the manual revealed that the power button needs to be pressed for a few seconds, after which the indicator will light up showing the machine is on and the brush will begin to heat up. the instructions state that the hair should be prepped with dry shampoo and sprayed with hairspray – the company's brands, of course. I didn't use any products and my hair looked very good. A long power cord would be nice.
