Review on 🐴 Cashel Quiet Ride Fly Mask with Ears and Extended Nose by Sandra Saksena

Revainrating 5 out of 5

mare admitted. about pest control

I usually buy horse gear from SmartPak but I bought it through Amazon to have it in two days with Prime. I bought this mask for the mare I ride and I usually use a deer cap and she is happy but lately there have been little black "I can't see" type bugs that make my mare do the to shake head. The tremors are annoying on trail rides so I bought this long nose mask to hopefully stop it and it worked on my last trail ride. I'd actually driven around wearing a mask the day before to make sure it didn't annoy her, and surprisingly she didn't mind (she's annoyed with fringed hats in the past). It is very delicate and special, and the material is light enough but strong enough not to dangle. I figured I'd use it to-go if it didn't work (and I used that idea to justify the purchase) and the packaging said it wasn't eligible for choice, but I figured it was because it was there is only one velcro strap. Place this over the bridle. So if you're thinking about using this for an inversion and not for its intended purpose, that's probably why it's not being sold for an inversion, in addition to being lighter and more visible. The mask worked well and seemed to keep the bugs out and didn't get in the way of my hypersensitive mare.

Pros
  • The Quiet-Ride fly mask protects your horse while riding
Cons
  • Hard to say
