These aren’t as stretchy as some others I’ve bought. They’re not Lycra, but they are soft and have just enough stretch to be very flattering. Not too tight across the hips and had plenty of room for any junk in the trunk, if you know what I mean. I went to an indoor "beach” themed party and ALL the women had these kind of pants, some had bought these exact brand (but not the same pattern as me!) It was so cute; they looked great on everyone. These run a bit large. I didn’t want to look like a bad bratwurst, so i didn’t size down like I normally would with yoga pants. Mistake. These fit loose. I tied on a belt and folded the waist over it. And they are LONG! I’m 5’7” and these were at least 4” too long for me! Rather than try to hem them on short notice, I turned them inside-out, tied an overhand knot on the back of both legs right at the hemline so it would sit on the inside, not showing, and they just shirred loosely around my ankles rather than dragging on the floor. It looked great! A bit like genie pants, but without the cuff. Got lots of compliments.Great pants; I could live in these.
