**UPDATE **The company contacted me and sent me two new probes. I have changed my rating to 5* to reflect the seller's prompt and positive response. The product also gets 5* for the following reason: Including two probes in a consumer (low cost) product is a bold move in itself. At this price, sensors simply cannot be made with high precision, so there will always be variations. The decision is then left to the user and not in the direct case of discretionary evaluation due to a lack of precise specifications and measurements. Turning on just one sensor won't reveal this problem, at least not on a trivial level. Previous review: After a few months, the probes that came with the thermometer (2 each) are now showing mixed results. By putting them on the flagstone around the pool in such a hot weather, one of them reads 108F and the other 115F. Aside from not knowing which is best, the difference is too big to be used as a meeting thermometer. I don't know how to get replacement probes, but the 3-month lifespan is definitely dismal.
