This is the best silver polish (see photo), stain remover for old dishes, stainless steel and glass cleaner that I use. ever used. It resembles ivory soap and has a very subtle, fresh soap scent. I never thought it would make a difference - wow, I was wrong. The downside of this material is that you have to be prepared to spend some time preparing the foam. Do not rub exactly, but gently rub back and forth several times until a foam forms. It needs to be rubbed into the surface with a soft cloth and if you don't you won't see the magic. If you use too little foam or stop before it starts bubbling, it won't work. But if you give it enough water and foam - voila. Make sure you go with the grain on the stainless steel (it's not realistic for restoration either). The best part is that polished silver doesn't smell at all. Absolutely harmless for your water supply - environmentally friendly. If you've tried Silvo, you know why I'm mentioning it. That's incredible. As for the other posts above that didn't get results, I'm willing to bet money that they didn't get the correct portion of the foam. If you just wipe it off right away, you've missed the instructions. Blackened pans that couldn't be cleaned with regular white powder detergents or creamy detergents and Brillo pads became as clean as new. I was totally shocked! It was worth it. I bought this thing in 2019 - a large tub and I still use it. (2021) a little goes a long way.
