This is a decent product if that's the color you want. I didn't pay much attention to it and I think I would have preferred white bulbs with even light. They shimmer slightly and look dark orange (more appropriate for Halloween). In fact, mine are hiding behind curtains and it looks like police sirens are blaring outside if you look out the window and see them flashing. A little worried they won't let my 3 year old sleep (sigh) but so hopefully he has a tent bed that blocks the blinking. I like that they have no cables. They run on 2 AA batteries and are pretty easy to assemble. I was a little worried that if I had to unscrew and screw it back on to insert the batteries, the bulb would break. It doesn't feel super strong and it's a lightweight piece of plastic. Although the price was right. I like that they have a timer. although in my ideal world they wouldn't run 8 hours straight, but 4-5 hours. I don't see a need to wear them all night and I think it's good for saving energy. Update: So frustrating and wish I had never bought them. At the end of the holiday season, not all of them turned on at the right time and some didn't seem to be working. Make sure you take out all the batteries if you are storing them for your next vacation. waste of money.
