I'm still not sure if it's merino?
Compared to my experience with SmartWool Merino wool it is a little scratchy. Is it as bad as that sweater that needs a collared shirt to keep it from chafing your neck? no It feels pretty soft and smooth, but it doesn't look Angora at all, my forehead itches from wearing it for a long time. It's cheap but you get what you pay for. Nice hat, but not great
