I bought it to increase the storage space on my phone. It works great and the space available is what you expect. The transfer rate is average considering it's class 4. That's why I got a star. The adapter had issues with the small locking button slipping into the 'locked' position when I plugged it into my laptop. At first I thought my microSD card had died. I have noticed that the latch on the adapter has become very weak over time. I fixed this by putting a small piece of tape over the latch holding the latch in place. I would recommend this to a friend.
