Review on Tendak Splitter Amplifier Supports Dolby AC3 by Drew Panah

My mother is older and lives with us all the time. She is hard of hearing and we were frustrated that the TV was so loud. I've always been trying to find a way to share the ONLY sound on my TV (optical) so she can use the TV's headphones/ears and watch TV with the family. This way she can regulate the volume and we can turn on the TV in the room at a normal volume. It used to be easy when everyone could see the cable and use the analog ports on the back of the cable box. We gave up cables for Roku and have been looking for a solution ever since. I've tried several other optical splitters, but since this one is powered, it actually splits the optical signal into three separate outputs. We now have a soundbar, headphones and TV ears so my mum gets sound and there is no lag. Your product must be sold with all headphones/TV ears installed as most new TVs only have an audio output option. I was surprised that even the stores couldn't solve my problem. I know we're not the only ones living with the hearing impaired. THANK YOU Tendak!
