Waterproof Not and Seriously Overpriced

Let me say this - I own a bunch of Thrunites and think they're terrific for the most part. This one was close.Light and fairly bright - that's the only upside to this overpriced thing.Battery life is awful.and I mean awful. I use this thing for a few minutes (very few) until the crap battery dies, then I get out the old 8 pound thrunite headlamp that uses 18650s.The little charging port they are putting on all their batteries? Bad idea if you want waterproof. The lid came off this one twice - I found it and hired a Swiss watchmaker to get that baby back in - didn't know those watchmakers could cuss like that.even added a little glue to the anchor side of the lid. 3rd times a charm - lid came off and was sucked into the same blackhole that got my golf balls. Wonder how waterproof it is without that poor fitting lid. Also hard to find that weird battery. Seriously overpriced. Avoid!

Pros
  • Way better than the coastal lights at Lowe's/Home Depot
Cons
  • The brightness level may be too intense for some users
