I bought this bag at the beginning of the Fall semester in 2015 for college and decided to come back and review this item after 8 months of use. The space is fine and overall I like the bag. It's compact and holds everything I need, but one potential flaw is the 2 hooks on the straps. Granted I have about 10 pounds of stuff in my bag when you throw my laptop in there and over the course of 8 months one of the hooks has rubbed against the bigger ring attached to the bag and sheared off. So if you plan to have a lot of weight in your bag, don't expect these hooks to last that long. I ended up just curling the piece left with some Irwin vice grips to make a new smaller hook that can't come off, but it's only a temporary fix and will rub through again soon.Other than this, it actually is good for moderate rain as one of the "features" is water resistant. Just don't go out into the rain for more than 10 or 15 minutes or when it's pouring down raining.
