The pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this 48 inch fan. I would say he looks fantastic. Of course, airflow is just as important, and this fan does a great job of distributing the air. The motor is very quiet and the fan is good. I think it will last for many years. It's well balanced and doesn't wobble like some fans at the highest settings. In addition to the instructions, the kit includes everything for installation. I installed it professionally and my electrician said he installs the fans himself but needed an assistant while he worked to install it. In pic 2 what looks like rings are actually illuminated by LEDs... very clever. The rings and blades are made of plastic, which is the norm for modern fans like these. It can only be operated with a remote control, the LED indicators cannot be changed and it cannot be adapted to hug just to provide as much information as possible. I like the fan and rate it 4 stars.
