I use this to increase the distance between my laptop and my astrophotography setup. This means controlling four USB 2.0 devices: mount, pointing camera, CCD camera and polar alignment camera. It handles all four at once with no hiccups (at least for now) and is completely transparent to my astronomy software. - These are not cheap plastic cases with flimsy connectors, but metal cases that provide a reliable connection. And installation? It doesn't exist on my Win 10-64 laptop. Just plug in and get started. It easily deserves a 5 star rating!
