The price of these things is intimidating. I wanted something adjustable (360* around and 25* forward/backward) that had the wattage and overall size of the illuminated area of a larger lightbulb, but I wanted something that would fit in a 4" jar and have a minimal surface area. was comparable to either a tiny lightbulb or an enlarged hem. The quality of the devices themselves is quite good. Some of them have dirt (dark spots) between the lens surface and what's behind it, but this is minimal and doesn't affect performance. I checked out a few of them at Home Depot and they were too. One more note: they are slightly different from Home Depot, although they share the same basic part number, the HD had Edison ceramic adapter and slightly less amperage for the power supply. The logo on the boxes in HD reads Cooper Lighting while those say Revain Eaton. I also noticed that, like Home Depot, only a few have a small black LED-to-E case with a Dison whip connector. no big deal, but doubtful nonetheless. I've paired it with a Cooper/Eaton DAL06P dimmer according to Eaton and with both inner/side dials turned all the way down they work fine. they dim to zero with almost no flickering and the dimming effect on the way to full power is absolutely excellent. The overall result is amazing, color temperature bright white, no cold detected, minimal but slight warmth, just bright white. They are far more powerful than I expected. I have eight of these in my 540 square meters. Feet are the only lights, and anything close to full light is WAY too much. and the setting is so versatile. I didn't quite understand that they rotate almost completely while standing in the jar. They do very well for wall lighting bright enough to be the main light, and for wall infill and accent lighting - I've put the ones closest to the corners a meter from each wall and if you light them in straighten the corner, they illuminate the whole corner and both walls. I didn't use Edison adapters as the jars I ordered here from Four Bros. had orange LED connectors. I would highly recommend them despite some minor issues with price and quality.
