A phenomenal shoe in terms of comfort and cushioning. Last year I bought half a dozen trekking and hiking shoes and they are by far the most comfortable, one of the lightest and most weatherproof middle shoes I currently own. The reason for the 4 stars is due to wearing shoes. Soles, where I would like to say, pretty quickly. Keep in mind I'm a fairly heavy guy but with a 244lb build and I often wear this shoe for power walking with a 50lb vest for 2-5 miles at a time mostly pavement and the midsole has probably lost, 2/3rd her protector. And I mean, I don't think I've ridden it more than 150 miles since trying and testing other brands. And at over $200, it can quickly get expensive. However, I have already purchased a second pair to be ready when they are completely out of service. In any case, I use them especially on cold rainy days as they are also very waterproof.
