We bought our first one because I have arthritis in my hands and it's difficult to use a regular wine/cork remover. This lasted about a year and then became very slow and lethargic. Since you already charge the batteries daily by reconnecting them after use, you cannot replace the batteries. So we bought another one. The small plug that fits in the corkscrew doesn't go well with the new one, so you need to make sure the light is on so you know it's charging. I have to move it a bit to connect it. But I love this product because I have no power in my hands and I would buy it again.
