When I bought this, I was specifically looking for a Windows 10 compatible hard drive, Western Digital advertised it as such. When I received it, there was even a Windows 10 sticker on the box. Trusting WD's claims, I didn't even notice that the box said "Compatibility + Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista" on the right side of the box. It worked for a very short time (about a week). ).
