Review on 60 Count Heavy Duty Compostable Trash Garbage Bags - 13-15 Gallon, 1.18Mils Thickness For Kitchen Garden Home by Brian Nelson

Glad to get biodegradable bags that work

I wanted to have some kitchen trash bags that would biodegrade over time - I stopped using plastic bags quite a while back and have been trying to reduce waste in general. We also have curbside organics/compost pickup, but we don't use a bag for that. I just didn't want any trash that might possibly be able to decompose to be stuck for eternity in a plastic bag. Previously, I'd tried using a couple different kinds of compostable bags that had fallen apart when I was taking the trash out. These were labeled biodegradable and seem to be sturdier - we have not had any of them fall apart on us between our kitchen container and the bin at the curb. I like the dispenser-style box as well. Pleased with this purchase.

Pros
  • Trash, Compost & Lawn Bags
Cons
  • The compostable material may not have the same texture or feel as traditional bags
