I first ordered a much more expensive neck massager and hated it. Ordered this to try with lower expectations. It arrived the day before we left for a 2 week holiday in Europe including 10 hour flights one way. This wonderful little neck massager was really great for those long flights and really helped keep my sanity. The warmth feels great and the massage is pretty good too. There are only a few minuses: 1 - the instructions are generally not very clear. It comes with tens pads and they don't tell you they are reusable or give you care or usage instructions so just google "tens pads" and you can know all about them. 2 - A vibration mode is actually very annoying and (at least I think) VERY painful. sort of a really terrible shock and it turns on automatically when you turn the unit on so you have to (I think) scroll down to the 2nd setting on the remote and turn it off if you don't like it. I compare it to beer and cigarettes. It may be an acquired taste (feeling), but why waste time acquiring it if you don't like it from the start?! (sorry I HATE most beers and most cigarettes and I think most people do it first so I never understood why people even bother!) on the plane or at work. (I didn't care)
