For some reason my 2009 Genesis sedan won't pair reliably with my new iPhone 12 Pro Max. I hear my phone ring in my pocket, but the device doesn't display anything. I also couldn't make a call by voice command. This solved the first problem and added streaming music to my machine. I can even use it to select tracks and pause my phone. The voice quality in both directions is very good. I still can't make a voice call with the steering wheel remote control and the music quality could be better, but I'm happy.
