Review on Whitmor Pop Fold Clothespin White by Christine Sanchez

Bad Design: Clothespins

I bought two sets of laundry from Whitmore because I was so impressed with the Whitmore shelves I bought two different shelves. Both of Withmore's lingerie are crap. The fabric yarn pop up bag, while very well constructed, is poorly designed. The clothesline clip is too small and difficult to attach to the clothesline even if the clothesline is small in diameter. Pop-up is supposed to keep the pouch compressed in my experience, there isn't one. The limited top opening means you have to focus every time you pull the clothespin out. A zipper attached to the rope with a clothespin is easier to move and the clothespins are easier to access. The Whitmor clip and 26 clip drip hanger will not fit either. The hanger tends to spontaneously disassemble; One of the brackets and one of the hanging "chains" (plastic) came loose during shipping. The structure is NOT fixed. The Rosiness stainless steel clothesline drying rack with 20 strong clothespins (rectangular) purchased at the same time is satisfactory, although I would have liked a bit heavier wire for its construction.

Pros
  • Storage and Organization
Cons
  • Big and Bulky
